We currently have opportunities for Intermediate Civil Design Technicians based out of our Victoria, BC office. The role includes civil engineering design and drafting, with direct supervision from an engineer, construction inspection, and project support.

• Preparation of storm, sanitary and watermain drawings.

• Preparation of roadworks drawings including plan, profiles, sections.

• Preparation of servicing concept and zoning plans.

• Preparation and design of Stormwater Management Plans and calculations, and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.

• Preparation of detailed design drawings to support both subdivision and building permit applications.

• Coordination with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies and subconsultants.

• Relevant degree or technical diploma in environmental science, engineering, or related.

• Minimum 5 years previous experience in civil engineering design and drafting.

• Complete proficiency with Civil 3D.

• Understanding of MMCD, CCDC and similar construction documents.

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.

• The ability to deal tactfully and effectively with clients and co-workers.

• Ability to work effectively in a high demand, fast paced environment.
